Grace Benitone Burnett

Overview In law school, Mrs. Burnett served as the Secretary and Vice President of the Student Bar Association. Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Health Law Journal and directed the journals Symposium events. Additionally, Mrs. Burnett competed on the Moot Court team and served as the Summer Program Director for the Board of Advocates. She earned the Law Student for Justice award, served as an admissions ambassador and peer mentor, and worked as a Lexis Nexis Associate. Finally, she graduated from the Tennessee Bar Association Diversity Leadership Institute prior to completing law school. News Grace published an article in the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association Journal regarding concerns about proposed Tennessee state bills which could lead to double the exposure in a civil action. She co-chairs the Carbolic Smoke Ball Committee with the Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Finally, she represents the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association as a member of the organizations Bench/Bar Committee.
