Jannette M. Shockley

Download vCard Jannette Shockley is a partner with the law firm of Lazega & Johanson LLC in Atlanta. She recently transitioned to the the firms general community association practice and is excited to help her clients in new and innovative ways. She previously managed the firms community association collections department for several years. Jannette graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with Highest Honors from the University of Georgia Honors Program. Jannette earned her bachelors degrees in Political Science and International Affairs and minored in French. She was admitted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society in 2007. Jannette then attended the University of Georgia School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude in 2010. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia as well as being admitted to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. When not working, Jannette enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved Labrador, Robin. Industry Experience During law school, Jannette volunteered and interned at the Athens-Clark County Public Defenders Office where she represented defendants in misdemeanor and felony cases under the Third Year Practice Act.
