Gena M. Koutsouris

At Silverman Theologou, Ms. Koutsouris handles collection matters for the firms credit union clients. While representing the credit union clients, Ms. Koutsouris focuses on the negotiation, resolution, and collection of consumer debt, including but not limited to filing and litigating claims throughout the State of Florida to recover funds due and owing. Prior to joining Silverman Theologou, Ms. Koutsouris worked at the GM Law Firm as a civil litigation attorney, wherein she represented clients on the opposite side of the spectrum. Specifically, Ms. Koutsouris focused her practice from inception to completion on all aspects of the litigation process. Ms. Koutsouris practice included client , settlement negotiations, discovery practice, motion practice, mediations, trials, and post-judgment proceedings. After graduating law school, Ms. Koutsouris worked as a Prosecutor in the State of New Jersey for over 13 years. Prior to graduating law school, Ms. Koutsouris served as an intern to the Honorable Charles Ramos at the New York Supreme Court specializing in commercial litigation. Ms. Koutsouris hails from New Jersey and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Monmouth University with a bachelors degree in political science. Ms. Koutsouris holds a juris doctorate degree from New York Law School and is a member of the State of Florida bar and the State of New Jersey bar.
