The award recognizes alumni for outstanding contributions to the life and welfare of the University. After graduating from CLU with a degree in business administration, David attended law school at California Western University and New York University School of Law. Currently, he is a senior partner for the law firm Moran and Associates, representing clients in the areas of land use, zoning and gaming. A former Assistant U. S. Attorney working with the Federal Grand Jury and a member of the Nevada State Bar Association, David has served as a member of the CLU Alumni Board of Directors for six years and as the Alumni Representative for the Board of Regents for two years. He was instrumental in raising more than $250,000 for the Alumni Association Athletic Hall of Fame.
