Michael Lopez

Michael A. Lopez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He attended St. Marys University in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2012. While at St. Marys he interned at the St. Marys Center for Legal and Social Justice. Mike also holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Boston University which he received in 2017. Mike earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2021. There, he graduated Cum Laude and achieved the honors of Deans List and Honor Roll continuously throughout his last two years. During Mikes final semester of law school, he interned with the District Attorneys Office in Austin, Texas. Mike was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2024. Michael is a dedicated civil attorney, practicing in Texas with a commitment to providing expert legal counsel. With a strong academic foundation and practical experience in both research and litigation, Michael helps clients navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and confidence. When not working, Mike enjoys cooking, traveling, collecting sports cards, spending time with his fiancé and their two boxer dogs, as well as watching his favorite basketball team, the San Antonio Spurs.
