Jimmy graduated from Emory Universitys School of Law in 1980. He and his wife, Candy, live in East Cobb County. They have five adult children, who have all achieved success of their own, and three precocious grandchildren. Jimmy was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel, by the Governor of Kentucky in 2010 and has been a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks for over a decade.
