Esteban Santana

Esteban Santana is a seasoned trial attorney in the handling of family and criminal law matters. Mr. Santana proudly served as a combat medic in the United States Army, where he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for outstanding leadership ability. Upon his Honorable Discharge, in 1998 Esteban earned his BA in Business Administration from Interamerican University and received his Juris Doctorate in 2002 from Pontificia University School of Law. Esteban is a former prosecutor for the State of Florida in Polk, Hardee, and Highland Counties. He was lead counsel in bench and jury trials, for the prosecution of crimes such as Battery, Domestic Violence, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), and drug related crimes, among others. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Santana also represented the Florida Department of Revenue in hundreds of cases related to Child Support establishment and enforcement. In the private sector, Esteban has excelled in criminal defense work, assisting clients accused of crimes ranging from shoplifting to murder. The representation of his clients includes, but is not limited to arraignments, motion practice, pre-trial hearings, settlement consultations, trial, and sentencing hearings. With over a decade of Family Law experience, Estebans commitment and expertise has helped his clients safeguard their financial futures and keep their loved ones close. Divorce, Custody, Time Sharing and Child Support are only some of the issues that Esteban has worked closely with throughout the years. He is passionate about providing his clients with peace of mind, while guiding them through the complexities of our legal system. Esteban is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, the Puerto Rico Bar Association, and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico Bar Association. Esteban is fluent in Spanish and serves the local Hispanic community in family and criminal law matters.
