Bethann Lloyd

< Back Bethann Lloyd Shareholder Ms. Lloyd concentrates her practice in professional liability defense, including defense of legal malpractice cases, commercial litigation and employment litigation. Ms. Lloyd is an active member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, currently serving as its President. She is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Associations Professional Liability Committee and in that capacity, plans programs and lectures frequently on risk avoidance and ethics for lawyers throughout Western Pennsylvania. Ms. Lloyd is currently a Delegate for the Pennsylvania House of Delegates. In addition, she is an appointed Trustee and Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund and Trust Fund. Ms. Lloyd served a three-year term as an appointed member of the Pennsylvania Civil Procedural Rules Committee from 2010 to 2013. She has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer annually since 2011. She was also selected nationally by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® from 2012 through 2023 for legal malpractice law and insurance law. In 2019, 2021 and for 2023, she was selected as Best Lawyers Pittsburgh Legal Malpractice Law-Defendants: Lawyer of the Year. Ms. Lloyd received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, cum laude, in 1994. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, in 1991.
