Steven Barth

His practice areas include truck crashes, dramshop/ liquor liability, drunk-driver negligence, product liability, civil rights, highway design, bad-faith insurance cases and personal injury. Steve Barth was born in Toledo, Ohio, where he spent his entire childhood. He went to St. Johns Jesuit High School. After that, he attended Ohio University where he majored in history and played club lacrosse before graduating with honors (cum laude). Steve then moved to Pittsburgh. In 2002, he earned his law degree, also known as a juris doctorate, from Duquesne University School of Law. In 2009, Steve was selected to attend the Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. Since its inception in 1994, the Trial Lawyers College has trained approximately 850 attorneys from across the nation. This privilege gave Steve the opportunity to learn from some of the best attorneys in the country such as Gerry Spence, Rich Friedman, and others. In addition to having an active litigation practice, he previously served on the Board of Governors for the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice. He remains a proud and active member of both organizations. Steve is also a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. The Academy is an organization for attorneys committed to handling truck-crash cases and to making a difference by fighting unsafe highway practices that lead to these devastating events.
