Jovanni F. Gutierrez

Jovanni F. Gutierrez is an Associate at the firms Fort Lauderdale East office, where he primarily focuses on commercial litigation, including claims against businesses and professionals, contractual disputes, partnership actions, directors and officer claims, as well as employment disputes and discrimination charges. Mr. Gutierrez graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He then attended St. Thomas University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, earning his Juris Doctor. During that time, Mr. Gutierrez interned at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City and volunteered with Dade Legal Aid, providing pro bono legal services for those facing landlord/tenant disputes. Prior to joining Cole, Scott, & Kissane, Mr. Gutierrez served as In-House Counsel with a prominent insurance company, where he was a successful trial attorney and litigated cases involving condominium water intrusions, property damage, and personal injury.
