He is a member in good standing of the State and Federal bars of Florida and the United States Virgin Islands. Mr. Carlson graduated from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University and earned his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School (cum laude). In addition to being board certified in construction law, he holds the highest Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent AV Peer Review Rating. Mr. Carlsons practice is focused on complex tort and commercial litigation where he has successfully represented clients in high value construction, products liability, class action and insurance matters. In the litigation context, this includes mechanics liens, delay claims, contractual disputes, warranty claims and construction defect and products liability litigation. In the non-litigation context, Mr. Carlson enjoys consulting on transactional matters, including the negotiation and development of contracts and insurance programs. He has extensive experience evaluating and coordinating insurance programs, construction subcontracts, and helping our clients implement other pre-litigation risk management strategies. Mr. Carlson handles matters throughout the State of Florida and the United States Virgin Islands.
