Joshua T. Crain

ATTORNEY AND FOUNDER, FIGHTING FOR YOU JOSHUA T. CRAIN My name is Joshua T. Crain and I have been an attorney since 2005. I am licensed in Tennessee and am admitted to practice in all State courts in Tennessee as well as in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. I am a criminal trial attorney. I spent the first approximately 6 years as an Assistant District Attorney General (Prosecutor) for the State of Tennessee where I gained a lot of valuable trial experience. I have been in private practice since about 2011. I have been married since 2000 and have three children. When I was growing up, I worked in production agriculture (hay and small grains) in Rutherford County and worked for the Rutherford Farmer’s CO-OP while I was going to college. I have always been an outdoors kind of person and that is what drew me to study agriculture. When I got my first job at 15 years old working on a hay farm, I fell in love with agriculture. I loved everything about it. And it is truly the best and most satisfying work I’ve ever done. I started riding bulls around 1995 or 1996 and rode for a few years around Tennessee and Texas. I’ve always loved camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and anything else outdoors. Since I started practicing law, I have been able to pursue some of my other interests, as I am always wanting to learn new things. I obtained my Student Pilot’s License as well as my SCUBA Certification in my pastime and as an outlet to get rid of stress that comes with practicing law. When I’m not at the office or in the courtrooms, I love to be engaged in my other interests. I am a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and find that jiu-jitsu has been the single most important health and wellness activity I have ever been involved with. I have competed twice (losing both times) but enjoyed the experience. I started a company in 2022 called Crain Defense Solutions, LLC where I and my team offer training in Defensive Tactics (Hand-to-Hand), Firearms, and Emergency Medical.
