Joy Zubkin Biography Joy G. Zubkin is a partner in Wicker Smiths Orlando office. She primarily handles complex medical malpractice matters, as well as professional liability and general liability cases. Joy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. She spent the early part of her career working as a Registered Nurse and a Director of Nursing of a home health agency before enrolling in law school. She received her Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, and was admitted to practice in 2006. Throughout her legal career, Joy has represented hospitals, physicians, nurses, emergency room practitioners, pediatricians, obstetricians, optometrists, dentists, and a variety of other allied health professionals. In addition to her medical malpractice experience, she has also handled general liability, wrongful death, negligent security, trucking, construction and motor vehicle accident cases. She has represented apartment management companies, homeowner associations, business owners and homeowners with success.
