Haley Elizabeth White

February 6, 2020 (Charlotte, N.C.)—James, McElroy & Diehl, P.A. (JMD) is pleased to announce that Family Law Attorney Haley E. White has been selected to participate in the 2020 Bar Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Mecklenburg County Bar and the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation. The purpose of this five-month educational program is to encourage lawyers in the development of their professional and leadership skills within the Bar, the Foundation, the legal profession and the community. Starting this month, Haley will participate in a series of training sessions along with 19 other Mecklenburg young lawyers. At JMD, Haley focuses her practice on family law, including issues related to divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, and domestic violence. Regularly handling challenging family law matters that have a lasting and significant impact, Haley guides clients in taking the best possible route for themselves and their families. Outside her law practice, Haley is a member of Good Friends Charlotte and also a member of the Young Affiliated Professionals of the Humane Society of Charlotte. She graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University. During her final year in law school, Haley worked as an extern at the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Roanoke, Virginia.
