Lisa Morris Robinson

Lisa is hardly Imelda Marcos, but she does have quite a handbag collection. Some of her earliest memories involve taking a handbag with her everywhere on her childhood tobacco and blueberry farm in Eastern North Carolina. But theres nothing frivolous about Lisa. She has always been a hard worker - a habit she learned on the farm and in the classroom. Lisa has practiced law since 1987 but has also been heavily involved in legal education and writing. As a teacher at Central Carolina Community College, she has been nominated twice for Instructor of the Year. She has taught paralegal and criminal justice courses, authored legal study guides and articles for national publications, edited numerous legal studies textbooks, and consulted with legal authors on several writing and educational projects. She has also written questions for state and national certification examinations for legal professionals. (They dont let just anybody do that!) Lisa obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and her JD degree from Campbell University School of law. She is also a Board member and Committee Chair for the North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification. Lisa also somehow finds time to help out the community. Shes a volunteer and keynote speaker for events held by the domestic violence shelter, HAVEN of Lee County, and she presents at divorce and child custody clinics for Legal Aid of North Carolina. In her spare time, (besides occasionally adding to her handbag collection), Lisa loves to support her son in his profession as a college football coach.
