James Andrew Beck

Jim Beck focuses his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Commercial Creditors Rights, Construction Law, and Business Law. He represents clients in various industries, including construction, finance, technology service, manufacturing, agriculture, and transportation. Jim has practiced law since 2005 and is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and all the state and federal courts located within the state. My passion is helping businesses thrive and grow. I help businesses primarily by collecting money theyve earned, representing them in business disputes and transactions, and protecting them by reviewing and drafting contracts and corporate documents. No business can succeed without getting paid, enforcing contract terms, complying with regulatory requirements, and maintaining corporate protections. I believe that every business needs an attorney that will fight for it and work hard to protect its interests. My goals with every client relationship are to provide excellent service and effective, zealous legal representation. Jim has spent the majority of his career here at Vann Attorneys. He spent one year serving as Company Attorney at a large local construction company where he further developed his abilities and knowledge in the areas of construction law, litigation, contract review, and other legal matters arising out of the companys operations. A native of Raleigh, Jim received his B. S. in Business Management from NC State University in 2000. Jim earned his J. D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2005.
