Jim Thomas Jim Is An Experienced, Driven and Extremely Knowledgeable Attorney Whos Focus Is On Taking Care Of His Clients. Jim is the only Elder Law Attorney in the State of Michigan with BOTH of the following credentials: Certified Elder Law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation AND Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners and Council Jim Thomas is one of the only eighteen Certified Elder Law Attorneys (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation in the State of Michigan and is a member of the American College of Board Certified Attorneys. Jim has practiced Elder Law for 9 years and focuses his practice on: Elder Law, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, the Probate and Asset Protection. Jim is a member of the Florida Bar and Michigan Bar Associations, including the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section, the Probate and Estate Planning Section and the Taxation Section. Additionally, Jim is a member of the Elder Counsel, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the American Bar Association, the Saginaw County Bar Association, is a Partner member of Elder Care Matters Alliance and the National Care Planning Council.
