Nicholas Andersen

Nick founded Arenstein & Andersen Co., LPA with G. Gregory Arenstein in March of 2010. After over a decade and a half as a litigator, where he handled and tried civil and criminal cases on myriad issues, Nicks practice is now focused primarily on healthcare, business, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. In his healthcare practice, Nick provides contract drafting and review as well as practice support to all manner of healthcare professionals including physicians, dentists, veterinarians, podiatrists, optometrists, and chiropractors. Notably, Nick does not represent systems so that he can represent most healthcare professionals and their practices without the risk of conflicts. In his business, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions practice, Nick assists businesses in asset and equity purchases, sales, and mergers, including real property transactions as part of the same. Not one to quit anything completely, Nick does still engage in litigation for longtime clients and in two niche areas: complex probate and oil & gas lease and pipeline disputes. Nick also continues to provide estate planning services to his healthcare professionals and other higher net wealth individuals with complex wealth planning needs. Nick was named as an Ohio Rising Star in Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine in 2007, 2011, 2018, and 2019. Nick was also named to the 2015-2016 and 2022-23 Columbus CEOs Top Lawyers List. In May of 2022, in order to better serve his clients complex business needs, Nick obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nick lives in Franklin Park (Columbus, Ohio) with his wife, Elizebeth Maag, and their dogs.
