Supported by considerable expertise in civil litigation, corporate law, mediation and more, Ms. Mills exceled as the deputy chief counsel of the Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System, where she now serves as the deputy executive director. On a day-to-day basis, Ms. Mills supervises administration of benefits, knowledge management, appeals, compliance, pension related information technology, and various long-term projects. Outside of her work in law, Ms. Mills serves as a board member with the Pennsylvania Association of Public Employee Retirement Plans and on the Advisory Board of Pension & Investments DC Investment Lineup. She is as an active member of the National Association of Governmental Defined Contribution Administrators, the National Association of State Retirement Administrators, and the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys. She also recently earned her Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) Accreditation. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, she is especially proud to have established the Defined Contribution Plan with the help of dedicated staff and tax counsel.
