His extreme forgetfulness will cost you 2x what other attorneys charge. He is not bashful about billing. I ended up educating him on the law way too often, while he charged me hourly to learn. He never lives up to his promises on when the work will be completed. I got tired of the near midnight, last minute filings which were compromised as a result of working this late. He was too busy doing higher priority clients work. As he stated to me, he can not turn down money. Very sloppy administrative procedures, lost emails, no follow up, etc. Very unfair billing practices. Once he gets your retainer, forget about any reimbursements. Whatever client pays last, gets his attention, those who already paid retainers move low on the list of priority. As he stated, he can not turn down money, so regardless of work load, he will accept new clients even when work load is too high, which can interfere with the work you need completed. OTOH, its possible his work load is low when you hire him, if so, consider yourself lucky. I had to discharge Ken, as the representation was poor and his ego was so big, memory so poor, over billing (about 2x what other attorneys charge for similar tasks). I wish I had read a review on him, before I hired him. If your legal matters are important, be sure to find an attorney with good reviews who is honest and lives up to his word. My current attorney is bright, has a great memory, knows the law, is timely and does not have a huge ego."
