Richard Solomon is a native Floridian who graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Leo University in 1983, where he was 1st in his class. He then graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1986, where he was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Solomon has spent the bulk of his time defending building material manufacturers and suppliers and other product manufacturers in a wide variety of construction, commercial, product, breach of contract, and personal injury claims. He also is one of the principal architects of Floridas economic loss rule defense, which has helped his construction, commercial, and manufacturing clients avoid millions of dollars of unwarranted tort and extra-contractual liability. Mr. Solomons hard work has resulted in him receiving the highest possible AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, the oldest and most prestigious attorney rating service in the country. He also has been selected for inclusion in Floridas Super Lawyers. He also has spent considerable time serving the Florida Bar and the citizens of Florida as the past chair of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, which handles bar grievances filed against attorneys in Central Florida.
