Hayden Bonnie Harris

Bonnie is a lifelong Angelino, estate attorney, and artist whose murals, toy portraits, and bejeweled hummingbird paintings, and Ed The Chicken series have been displayed in art shows, shops, homes, offices, and pottery studios. She decided to do a daily art practice in order to transform her life after an especially tough year because she knew it would be healing, so she created an art project that involved creating one piece of art every day for 365 days. A lifelong sketcher and painter, she decided to try a new kind of art and make a soft sculpture out of at least one colorful, cotton pom pom per day. Each Pom Pom character or Pom, has a name and a story and can be anything from a food, to an emotion, to a monster, to a historical figure, or a celebrity. She calls this daily art project Pom 365. Not one to sit and relax very easily, the act of creating something original and fun and researching the stories, plus keeping a promise and commitment to herself every day did, indeed, transform her life while acting as a daily meditation. Wonderful art was created - and many lessons were learned along the way. Bonnie enjoys public speaking and sharing about healthy, positive things, and so she now wants to share this project to inspire and bring joy to others. The Poms are colorful, sparkly, funny, and educational and she is quite proud of them. They are going to be displayed at an art show presented at the Michael Kors Boutique in Westfield Century City on December 2nd and 3rd, 10am - 10pm.
