Doherty Akins

Akins Doherty is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of personal injury or catastrophic injury litigation. He has tried several cases to verdict and has recovered over $20 million dollars for clients. He is a former scientist turned attorney because of his passion for advocacy. His goal is to resolve disputes in a timely manner. However, in the event the insurance companies engage in vexatious and dilatory tactics to avoid paying clients what they are owed, he is prepared to take the case all the way to a jury trial if that is the only avenue to get the insurance companies to pay.
