In addition, she handles a wide range of oil and gas related issues, including litigation involving leasing, royalty, and mineral title. She frequently serves as outside counsel for public sector clients on complex litigation matters. Emily also maintains a significant appellate practice, including appeals and extraordinary writs in the Supreme Court of Ohio. Prior to entering private practice, Emily served the public for more than a decade, first as a Senior Staff Attorney at Ohios Seventh District Court of Appeals, and subsequently, as a Senior Judicial Attorney at the Supreme Court of Ohio. She leverages that broad-based experience to obtain favorable results for her clients in trial and appellate courts at both the state and federal levels.
