Clay Adkinson

Clay B. Adkinson is a skilled and experienced criminal defense attorney at Adkinson Law Firm in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. The firm, which has more than 30 years of experience in north Florida, represents clients facing criminal charges and others who are involved in family law issues. Adkinson earned his bachelors degree in political science at Florida State University in Tallahassee in 2003. He then attended law school at Florida State University College of Law where he graduated with his juris doctor degree in 2005. After law school, he joined Adkinson Law Firm with his father, attorney and partner Clayton J. M. Adkinson. As a partner, the younger Adkinson focuses on criminal defense, such as DUI, drug charges, marijuana crimes and property crimes, as well as family law matters, including divorce, child custody and child support. Adkinson has experience in courts throughout Walton County and the surrounding areas in North Florida. He is admitted to practice before the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
