Alysandra E. Martinez

Biography Alysandra E. Martinez, a proud El Paso native, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in political science from the University of Texas at El Paso. She continued her studies at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she also graduated magna cum laude. Throughout her legal education, Alysandra was actively engaged in both academic and community-focused roles, including serving as an editor for the New Mexico Law Review and as a tutor in UNMs legal writing department. Her commitment to her education and community service was recognized with multiple awards, including the Atkinson & Kelsey Award for Excellence in Family Law and the Clinical Honors Award for her work with UNMs Community Lawyering Clinic. Alysandra currently serves as the President of the El Paso Young Lawyers Association. In 2024, Alysandra received the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the El Paso Bar Association, underscoring her dedication to her profession and her impact on the local community.
