Chris is an experienced divorce lawyer who firmly believes that it is his job to limit the misery for his clients and help set them up to live the best life possible. When it was suggested to him by an opposing attorney that his job was to fight for every last cent that his client could possibly get, Chris unequivocally responded that it wasn’t his job to leave people stewing in misery if there was another good option available. Prior to joining Schantz Fanning P.C., Chris attended Rutgers School of Law where he served as Editor in Chief of the Rutgers Law Record and earned a certificate for pro bono service during law school. When Chris isn’t practicing family law, you are most likely to find him spending time with his wife and children, enjoying Oregon’s natural beauty, playing guitar or engaged in some project that allows him to flex his creativity.
