She handles civil and probate appeals. Liz has served on the Appellate Practice Section Council for many years and has served as one of the co-editors of the Appellate Practice Section Journal for over 12 years. She is also co-chair of the Sections Committee of Professional Development which regularly hosts educational seminars/webinars on issues of interest to appellate practitioners. She has been recognized by Michigan Super Lawyers, DBusiness and Best Lawyers for her appellate work. She is a 1994 graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where she now serves as Adjunct Professor teaching Advanced Advocacy. In 2024, she co-authored Michigan Employment Law published by Lexis Nexis. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband Keith, singing with the Detroit Womens Chorus, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and accommodating the demands of her 3 cats: Selina, Loki and Rocket.
