About
Brady received his Juris Doctor from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2016. While in law school he served on the executive board of the International Law Society, was an active member of the Student Public Interest Network, and received an enhanced diploma in Business Law. During law school he also worked as a law clerk for one of the preeminent plaintiff’s personal injury lawyers in all of Pennsylvania at a boutique medical malpractice specialty firm in downtown Philadelphia. It was during this time that he decided he wanted to provide legal services to individuals who live in underserved areas or who are not able to advocate for themselves. Brady took the Oregon State Bar following graduation and was admitted to practice in Oregon in October of 2016. He began his career in Portland performing federal advocacy work for individuals with physical and mental disabilities, battling on a near-daily basis against the federal government to win his clients the assistance they deserved. In his first three years of practice he appeared at over 1,200 administrative hearings and cross-examined over 1,350 expert witnesses in front of federal Administrative Law Judges in 10 states, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Florida. In 2020, he moved from Portland to Bend and shifted his practice to civil litigation in state trial courts, focusing primarily on domestic relations. Brady continues to devote much of his time to helping marginalized communities, particularly through his pro bono work assisting clients who were referred through the Deschutes County Drug Court by establishing custody/parenting plans (and sometimes a pathway to reconciliation, if necessary) while they are in treatment and recovery. In his free time Brady gets outside as much as possible to take advantage of Central Oregon’s outdoor wonderland with his amazing wife Payton, daughter Nora, and dog Amelia. He is an avid Miami Hurricanes and Denver Broncos fan (though recently, not in public). He is also working on his first vintage motorcycle restoration project.
